G5 signs deal with Russia’s “Top 3” wireless operator.

Recently, G5 signed a contract with one of the Russian “Top 3” wireless operators. According to the deal, G5 will develop certain wireless products for the operators’ usage.

Vlad Suglobov, CEO, comments: “In 2006 we started providing development services to Russian wireless operators – our first customer was CDMA operator Skylink, and this collaboration already generated us around 4% of the annual revenue. The new deal with the large GSM operator starts an important relationship, and we expect more deals to be signed during Q1 2007 with our existing and new customers. Now that mobile penetration rate approaches 100% in Russia, the competition between operators increases and they start looking more closely at additional services they provide to customers. This is where G5 can help them with our outstanding knowledge of the platform and usability”.
